problem with ebay.fr ?

Hey Guys,

I've just noticed that I can't see some listings on ebay.fr because of some restrictions. Can anyone tell me what is going on? The page says:

Malheureusement, l'accès à cet objet a été bloqué en raison de restrictions légales en vigueur dans certains pays. Conformément à ces restrictions, nous nous efforçons de bloquer l'affichage des objets concernés. Nous regrettons de vous informer que pour des raisons techniques, certaines annonces ne rentrant pas dans le cadre de ces restrictions peuvent ne pas être accessibles aux utilisateurs. Nous vous prions d'accepter nos excuses pour tout désagrément et nous espérons que vous trouverez d'autres objets intéressants sur eBay.

It depends on the objects you're looking for, but with the trials Ebay France lost some months ago, they deny access to any object in the "beauty" section, and perhaps some others... Only the French ebay is touched by this.

What kind of object you were looking for?

Not only ebay.fr, i cannot see some military stuff from ebay.com

Oui, pour les parfums et les objets militaires, tu ne peux pas voir à partir d'ebay france les objets des autres pays. Certains objets en France semblent aussi être touchés, mais là il s'agit d'un bug normalement, mais je n'en sais pas plus.
Si jamais vous avez des problèmes sur ebay, je vous conseille vivement la lecture du forum, histoire de voir si c'est un bug ou pas. Bon, en ce moment, entre ceux qui ralent pour paypal, ceux qui ralent pour l'augmentation des frais d'ebay, ceux qui ralent pour la nouvelle page de présentation... Faut chercher un peu les fils parlant de problèmes ^^;;
(mais ca fait des lectures rigolotes quand on s'ennuie ^^)

You can't see perfums and military objects from others country if you connect via ebay France. Some others objects in France seems to be touched, but in that case it's a bug (not officially, as usual ><).

That's so odd! I can't see most Sailor Moon auctions now.

Mmm... Strange. I see it perfectly.

I search on the ebay forum, and I found some help.
First, the problem could be that your language is not french on your browser. So if you set it to french, maybe the problem will go...
Second, if you copy the item number (180283460037 on you example), connect via another ebay and do the advanced search with your item number, you will see the auction, if I well understand.

It's not real solution, but if it can help you find your hapiness ^^

I think this seller doesn't ship outside France. He only accepts bank cheque.

Well, I don't know about it but there's definitely a problem with ebay.fr for a moment now.

Because some weeks (1 or 2 months) ago I was looking for a wig shop, so I copy/past the name of an auction to find the shop and I never found it... same thing with Poly_100, looking for his shop (to lazy to go to my favorites xD) but I wasn't able at all to find his items I knew he had...

The number of results when searching for items went from 100 answers to 10 or less...

So now I'm using ebay.com ONLY -__- (then to check french items I sometimes use ebay.fr too)

The most interesting fact is that I don't have any problems with other ebay websites...
